Ma-Chis Lower Creek Indian Tribe of Alabama A meeting will be held on Saturday, August 6th at 1:00 PM at 2950 County Road 377, Elba, Alabama. Discussion: Low Income Home Energy and Community Service Block Grant plan for fiscal year 2023 Plans can be reviewed in person by meeting or email request. Grants planning to apply for healthcare. Hoobler Music and Enterprise Music Club Presents “Beautiful Noise, The Album” at Hoobler Music on Friday, August 12 at 7pm and Saturday, August 13 at 6pm. The Coffee County Extension office will host a “Guide to Herbicides in Natural Areas” workshop at the Coffee County Farm Center in New Brockton on Tuesday, August 16 from 3:00 to 8:30 p.m. This workshop will focus on the proper use of herbicides in forest, timber and landowner operations. The workshop will also cover herbicide use in wildlife food areas and waterways, including residential fishponds. CEUs and PLMs will be available. The workshop is free to attend for non-CEU and non-PLM participants. There is a $50 fee for CEUs and/or PLMs. A sponsored meal will be provided to all registrants. Enterprise Military Support Group Meets on Tuesdays at 7pm Meetings 2017 are at Boll Weevil Circle Church on Boll Weevil Circle. Anyone who needs to talk about difficult experiences and needs an understanding friend is welcome. Call 334-894-6411 for more information.
COVID-19 tests It will be served at the Coffee County Health Department on Wednesdays from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Call 334-347-9574 to schedule an appointment.
The DAV van service for local veterans will make runs to Montgomery and Tuskegee on Mondays and Fridays. The van will depart from Hardee’s on Rucker Boulevard in Enterprise at 5 a.m. and from the Dothan Civic Center at 5:30 p.m. Due to COVID restrictions, there is only room for four riders per ride. Veterans needing to go to the VA hospitals in Montgomery or Tuskegee can call 334-308-2480 to reserve a seat on the Enterprise van or 334-446-0866 for the Dothan van.
The Enterprise YMCA will be holding square dance classes every Monday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in the main building on Highway 27, across from the Hobby Lobby at the Enterprise. Singles and couples welcome, no dance experience required! For more information, call 334-237-0466 or 334-347-4513.
