Telugu Desam President Chandrababu Naidu alleged that the YS Jagan administration failed to protect the lives of common people. He alleged that persecution of YSRCP leaders led to the suicide of an SC person in Nellore. According to the TDP chief, Karunakar committed suicide in Musunur of Kavali mandal after being pressured by YSRCP leaders Ketireddy Jagadish Reddy and Suresh Reddy.

In a letter, Karunakar alleged that they had banned the sale of products from the fish ponds in which they had invested thousands of rupees by naming them. Expressing concern over YS Jagan’s administration, Chandrababu asked why a Dalit died every day in the state.

According to the former chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, the ruling party has never taken any measures to control its leaders who have become enemies of society. He urged the police and the state government to compensate Karunakar’s family members and do justice to the two orphans.
