PINE MOUNTAIN, Ga. (WTVM) – Fantasy in Lights celebrates 30 years at Callaway Resort & Gardens this season.
The world-famous light display opened to the public on Friday, November 18 and will continue until January 2.
Callaway Resort & Gardens Vice President and General Manager Sonny Horton said, “For three decades, millions of families have made Fantasy in Lights a cherished Christmas tradition. “Every year, the event has become brighter, now there are more than ten million lights. Celebration Lake debuts as the event’s first spectacular Christmas float and marks the largest single-stage investment in Callaway’s history.”
Riding the outdoor Jolly Trolly or enjoying a ride in their own car, visitors take a Fantasy ride through Light’s 2,500 acres of illuminated grounds. Festive music fills the air as the audience moves through seventeen dazzling Christmas scenes featuring giant wreaths, a beautiful Snowflake Valley and an enchanted Tunnel of Light. The Magic Field of Lights, which spans nearly two football fields and features a 10-story Christmas tree, the tallest in the South, also returns for the holiday finale.
