My favorite source for bulbs, this family-owned company in Gloucester, Virginia offers a large selection of fall and spring planting bulbs as well as a selection of perennials. Color mix
This company is relatively new to us, but they came highly recommended by some gardening friends. I love their tagline: “Colorblends is a third-generation bulb company offering landscapers and ambitious gardeners high-quality flower bulbs at wholesale prices.” They specialize in bulb mixes of two or more varieties suitable for mass planting and offer wholesale pricing as long as you place a minimum order of $60 – no special account required.

Our friend Julio at The Flower Hat in Bozeman, Montana offers a beautiful selection of anemone and ranunculus corms and tulip bulbs in the perfect amount for home gardeners every fall. Sign up to be the first to know when his newsletter is available.

John Scheepers
John Scheepers, one of the country’s oldest bulb makers, has a great selection of all types of bulbs, from tulips and daffodils to hard-to-find treasures. They have a large collection of bulbs grouped by color and their paper catalog is such a treat.

Leo Berbee Bulb Company
Based in Ohio, this long-standing company offers a wonderful collection of all types of bulbs for fall and spring planting. Bulbs are sold in larger quantities and are wholesale only, so you must have an account to shop with them. They are a great place to go if you want to buy in larger quantities.

This longtime family-run operation is the largest producer of tulips in the Skagit Valley, with more than 1,000 acres produced. During Skagit Valley Tulip Festival, you can visit their beautiful 3-hectare exhibition garden. They offer a nice selection of standard and novelty items in their mail order store.

Sunny meadows flower farm
Sunny Meadows is a cut flower farm located in Ohio. In addition to sending fresh flowers to florists and designers across the country, they offer a wonderful selection of anemone and ranunculus corms (grown on their farm) and tulip bulbs in their online store every fall.
